My Daffodil Diamante Poem

My Reflection

We were learning about the different parts of a daffodil. We have also been looking at drawing a daffodil, Then we started looking at diamante poems . A Diamante poem is a bunch of words ( Verbs, Nouns & adjectives) That create a diamond looking shape .

Liked looking at all the different interesting words.

I enjoyed doing this activity and I hope this will help me with my vocabulary in my writing.

My reflection

This year I wrote a speech about Endangered and extinct animals.

This is because of all the predators around.

I was one of the two people in our class that got into the speech finals along with Vacha.  I came third this year.I deffinatly enjoy doing speeches.

I was learning how to use my senses in writing.

I thought that was a fun activity

I would like to do this activity again except in other areas.

Did you ever poem

                                       My reflection

                                     I have been learning to write a Did You Ever poem.
   I felt that this poem was too easy because it didn't take me long to write, although it's good to practice               
                                                   to use my wow words in a sentences

I think it was good and bad to do this poem.  I enjoyed doing this poem, it was fun to do.

I think next time I will tell the teacher that it was too easy and ask for something more challenging.
